Precious Stones Montessori School (PSMS)  is a  government approved school by the Rivers State Ministry of Education which was established in October 2007, as a Christian school, to provide quality nursery and primary education both for Nigerian and international children. It is located at plot 216 circular road, Amadi Ama residential lay out, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
PSMS was born out of a burden and a vision which the founder, Barr. Mrs Nkechi Vivian Chibuokem had carried in her heart for many years.
At the inception, PSMS started in its present location, first as a creche, with a 3-month old baby, by name, Toluwalashe Ayomide Adeyemi. She was in PSMS creche until the relocation of her parents to Canada, when they all had to move. By September of 2009, the nursery school started. The primary school quickly followed by the next year. To the glory of God, the school has grown from its creche foundation to have students graduating from our primary classes with our first set of graduating set  in July 22,2012.
Though a lawyer by profession, Mrs Chibuokem’s burden which led to the vision of the school had been to raise children who would be globally distinguished. This burden is captured in the ethos of Precious Stones Montessori School.
